3 Ways to Travel from Nagoya to Shirakawago – Train, Highway Bus, Coach Bus
Renowned for its World Heritage, gassho-zukuri style farmhouses, Shirakawago is a must-go place when you have a trip in Nagoya.
However, there is no railway station in Shirakawago, you must take the bus to get there.
We are going to introduce 3 ways to get to Shirakawago from Nagoya.
1. Highway Bus
The easiest and the most convenient way to get to Shirakawago from Nagoya is by highway bus.
You will arrive in Shirakawago in around 3 hours.
For buses departing from Nagoya, there are buses in the morning, while the returning buses depart from Shirakawago in the late afternoon.
Do remember to reserve your seat beforehand!

If you find it troublesome to plan on your transport, it is recommended to join the one-day tour.
