1. JR Railway
Since there is no highway bus operating between Kansai Airport and Shirahama, tourists can only take the JR railway.
Firstly, you have to take the JR local or Kansai Airport Rapid Service from Kansai Airport to Hineno Station.
From there, transfer to the Limited Express “Kuroshio” to Shirahama Station.
It takes around 2 hours for the journey.
Don’t forget that “Kuroshio” has reserved seating, you have to book your seats at the JR counter or ticket machine.
